What A Ride!

Well, we have hit a milestone.  This is the 100th post!  I can’t believe it.  And as I look back over some of the things we have talked about, it’s interesting to see what was going on in my life at the time I posted some of the topics.

There are so many subjects we have touched on.  But you know what?  There are so many more that we haven’t even thought about yet.  And isn’t that like things are with God?  We talk with Him about things in our lives, sometimes not as much as we should.  But, as my dear brother wrote in his last post, we get tangled up in the “stuff” of life, and we forget about all the “icing” God has given us.  We need to go before our God and ask His forgiveness for being such a “me”.  It’s all about me, my problems, my worries, my this and my that.

We need to turn outward.  Think about how much better the world would be if all of us Christians reached out to just one person that was hurting.  Wow!!!  Think about what an impact we could have on the world, one person at a time.  Most of us will never be missionaries, we’ll never preach to large crowds, but does that mean we are not important, or that we don’t have anything to offer?  NEVER!

So, as we move on toward 200 posts, I personally look forward to what God will do with us.  And for all of you that are faithful followers of this blog, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words, your encouragement, yes, even when you point out that I may need to rethink something I’ve written about.  None of us are perfect, and it’s takes all of us helping each other.

Let us know what you think.  What would you like to see on this blog?  Are there any subjects you would like to talk about?  Please, let us know.  I feel right now that God is leading me to start off in the direction of how to study the Bible.  I am no expert, by any means.  But this is something that God is leading into in my personal life, and I am very excited about it.  Do any of you have a method you use most?  Share with me.

So, till the next time we are together, may God bless each of us, and may we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Selah!

This is from Bro J, all I can say is Amen! to what Sis said. Thank you all and let’s see which direction the Spirit leads us in next.
