Guaranteed Return on Investment

Text: Malachi 3:10

Subject: Guaranteed Return on Investment

Focus: Better than a 401k

10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. (Malachi 3:10, King James Version)

If you have been following us for any length of time, you will see that our message continues to call for a separation from the things of this earth. There is a very strong reason behind this….

36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36, King James Version)

Stocks rise and fall, the market is volatile. People are having to work longer to secure their retirement… to enjoy their “golden years.”

But even retirement, as is life, a temporary state that we go to before we die. Regardless of how you make your fortunes down here on this earth, they cannot cross that great divide that God created. This does not mean that you cannot be prosperous here on earth. But here is what God’s Word had to say about how to gain prosperity:

8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8, King James Version)

God’s word is guaranteed… an investment of faith in God will pour out rewards that we are not able to handle.

11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11, King James Version)

Now what if your stocks or investments responded like that… oh wait, there are a number of varying factors that can affect the performance of your portfolio. Well, truth be told, you are in complete charge of your salvation. You just have to make one choice and stick with it. Choose Jesus over the things that are to be rendered to Caesar.

I encourage you to start today… right now as there is no better time than the present…. Get to know Jesus and what He did so that we may be guaranteed life after death.

24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24, King James Version)

Stop chasing the money changers and start chasing the Soul Redeemer.

1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Romans 8:1, King James Version)

Now ask yourself, are you really willing to invest?

One Response to “Guaranteed Return on Investment”

  1. This is so true. An investment in your salvation redeems much more returns than money ever could. Right now in my country there is a situation where people are clamoring the Government to pay them money from an Insurance company that went bust. This particular insurance company was big and a lot of other companies invested in it. But it is the regular person who invested that is really feeling the pinch now as they stand to lose their life savings. It’s sad. But it makes me understand a lot better the verse Matthew 6:33 –

“Your heavenly Father knows all you needs and will give you what you need from day to day if you make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.”

One has to be so careful where they invest their money these days, but they can never go wrong once they make God their number one priority. They will never be in want.
